# Connect Claude.

Source: https://adsuperpowers.ai/docs/setup/claude-desktop

Connect Claude on the web or desktop with OAuth, then check the workspace and advertising accounts it can read.

Connect Ad Superpowers to Claude chat so you can ask questions about your connected advertising accounts. This guide uses browser sign-in; no API key is needed.

## Before you begin

- An [Ad Superpowers account](https://adsuperpowers.ai/signup) with an active trial or paid access. See [pricing](https://adsuperpowers.ai/pricing) for current terms.
- At least one platform connected in the correct workspace under [Integrations](https://adsuperpowers.ai/dashboard/integrations).
- A Claude account with access to custom connectors. If your organization manages connectors, its owner may need to add Ad Superpowers first.

## 1. Add the connector

Open [Claude's connectors page](https://claude.ai/customize/connectors). If Ad Superpowers is already available in your connector list, select it and continue to sign-in below. Otherwise, in **Customize → Connectors**, choose **+ → Add custom connector**, name it **Ad Superpowers** and enter:

```text
https://mcp.adsuperpowers.ai/v1
```

Choose **Add**. Leave the optional OAuth client ID and secret empty.

For a managed Claude Team or Enterprise organization, an **Owner or Primary Owner** adds it through **Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom → Web**. Members then connect individually from **Customize → Connectors**. These steps follow [Claude's custom connector guide](https://support.claude.com/en/articles/11175166-get-started-with-custom-connectors-using-remote-mcp).

## 2. Sign in to Ad Superpowers

Select **Connect** for Ad Superpowers and complete sign-in in the browser. On the Ad Superpowers authorization screen, select the workspace containing your connected platform, review the requested access and allow the connection.

The authorization is tied to that workspace. Switching workspaces in the dashboard does not switch an existing AI connection.

## 3. Check the result

Start a conversation and enable Ad Superpowers from **+ → Connectors**. In Claude Desktop, use the same Claude account you used for setup.

Ask:

```text
Use Ad Superpowers to show my connected workspace and list the
advertising accounts I can access. Include account names and IDs.
Do not change anything.
```

Confirm the workspace and expected account. Then ask:

```text
For [account name and ID], show campaign spend for the last 7 days.
Include the date range and currency. Do not change any campaigns.
```

Check the account, dates and currency against the advertising platform. A written answer without an Ad Superpowers tool result does not verify the connection.

## If something goes wrong

- **No option to add a connector:** check that you are in the intended Claude account or organization. Ask its owner to add the connector if organization controls apply.
- **Connected but no tool runs:** enable Ad Superpowers for this conversation and retry the account-list request.
- **Sign-in failed:** return to the connector, reconnect and complete the browser authorization. Confirm the URL ends in `/v1`.
- **Wrong workspace:** disconnect and authorize again, choosing the intended workspace on the Ad Superpowers consent screen.
- **Missing accounts or denied access:** check that workspace's [Integrations](https://adsuperpowers.ai/dashboard/integrations), account permissions and active trial or paid access. Follow [troubleshooting](https://adsuperpowers.ai/docs/troubleshooting) if the account is still missing.
