# Connect Antigravity.

Source: https://adsuperpowers.ai/docs/setup/antigravity

Add Ad Superpowers to Antigravity IDE with a custom MCP connection.

This procedure is for **Antigravity IDE**, using its Agent panel and custom MCP configuration. It connects the editor to your advertising data with an Ad Superpowers API key.

## Before you begin

You need Antigravity IDE with custom MCP support and an Ad Superpowers account with an active trial or paid subscription. [Create an account](https://adsuperpowers.ai/signup) if needed; see [pricing](https://adsuperpowers.ai/pricing) for current access and limits.

Select the intended workspace in the [dashboard](https://adsuperpowers.ai/dashboard), connect your platform in [Integrations](https://adsuperpowers.ai/dashboard/integrations), and create a key in that workspace's [API Keys](https://adsuperpowers.ai/dashboard/api-keys).

## 1. Open the MCP configuration

In the editor's Agent side panel, open **… → MCP Servers → Manage MCP Servers → View raw config**. This opens `mcp_config.json`.

Google's current documentation places the global file at `~/.gemini/config/mcp_config.json`; a project can also use `.agents/mcp_config.json`. Use the global file for a personal key. See [Google's Antigravity MCP guide](https://antigravity.google/docs/ide/mcp).

## 2. Add Ad Superpowers

Merge this entry into the configuration, preserving existing servers. Replace `YOUR_API_KEY` locally with your key; keep the actual value out of shared files and chat.

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "ad-superpowers": {
      "serverUrl": "https://mcp.adsuperpowers.ai/v1",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"
      }
    }
  }
}
```

Antigravity uses `serverUrl` for remote MCP connections. Save the file.

## 3. Reload the connection

Reopen Antigravity IDE, then inspect **MCP Servers** for `ad-superpowers` and its available tools. A saved configuration alone does not confirm that account access works; complete the read checks below.

## 4. Check the result

Start a conversation and ask:

```text
List the advertising accounts I can access through Ad Superpowers.
Do not change anything.
```

Confirm your expected account, then ask:

```text
For [account name and ID], show campaign spend and conversions
for the last 7 days. Include the date range and currency.
Do not change any campaigns.
```

Review any tool approval and compare the account, dates and currency with the platform.

## If the connection fails

- **Your interface has different menus:** confirm which Antigravity product you are using. Google's guide has separate instructions for its desktop app, IDE and CLI. Use the [general MCP connection details](https://adsuperpowers.ai/docs/setup/other) alongside the instructions for your version.
- **The server does not load:** check valid JSON, `serverUrl`, and whether the file you edited is the configuration loaded by your editor.
- **Authentication fails:** check the key and the single `Bearer ` prefix, and confirm trial or paid access.
- **The account is missing:** check the platform connection in the same Ad Superpowers workspace as the key, then reopen the connection. See [troubleshooting](https://adsuperpowers.ai/docs/troubleshooting).
