# Ask a useful first question.

Source: https://adsuperpowers.ai/docs/examples

Start with a specific account and period, then use these read-only questions to explore performance.

## Before you ask

[Connect your assistant](https://adsuperpowers.ai/docs/setup), then [check the workspace and account ID](https://adsuperpowers.ai/docs/accounts#check-access). Replace bracketed text below with your real account and dates. Ask for the date range, currency and relevant comparison basis in the answer.

These questions ask for reads and recommendations. If you need enforced read-only access, set [workspace permissions](https://adsuperpowers.ai/docs/workspaces#write-permissions). A prompt alone is not a permission setting.

## Meta Ads

```text
For Meta account [account ID], compare campaign spend, link clicks
and reported purchases from [start date] to [end date] with the previous
equal-length period. Include currency and the attribution basis.
Flag campaigns that need investigation and explain why. Make no changes.
```

Then narrow the question to a campaign or creative. Ask the assistant to distinguish measured results from its interpretation. See [Meta tools](https://adsuperpowers.ai/docs/tools/meta-ads).

## Google Ads

```text
For Google Ads customer [customer ID], show the search terms with the
most spend and no reported conversions during [date range].
Include clicks, spend and the conversion definition used.
Suggest terms to review, but do not add negatives or change campaigns.
```

Check relevance and conversion timing before acting on the suggestions. See [Google Ads tools](https://adsuperpowers.ai/docs/tools/google-ads).

## Google Analytics

```text
For GA4 property [property ID], compare sessions, engaged sessions
and key events by session source / medium during [date range].
Use the previous equal-length period for comparison.
State the property and dates, and call out missing or unavailable data.
```

Keep the requested dimensions and metrics compatible; the [GA4 reference](https://adsuperpowers.ai/docs/tools/google-analytics) explains the report tools.

## Google Search Console

```text
For Search Console site [site URL], list queries with the most impressions
and an average position between 11 and 20 during [date range].
Include clicks, impressions, CTR and average position. Group findings
by page where possible, and do not change anything.
```

Check that the site is the intended URL-prefix or domain property. See [Search Console tools](https://adsuperpowers.ai/docs/tools/google-search-console).

## LinkedIn Ads

```text
For LinkedIn account [account ID], summarize campaign spend, impressions,
clicks and available conversion metrics during [date range].
Show the top spenders, state which conversion metric is available,
and identify questions to investigate. Do not change anything.
```

You can also explore targeting without changing a campaign:

```text
For LinkedIn account [account ID], find targeting options for [job title]
and return their URNs. Estimate the audience size for [targeting criteria].
State the criteria used and make no campaign changes.
```

Audience counts are rounded estimates, not expected reach. A returned total of zero can mean fewer than 300 members. See [LinkedIn tools](https://adsuperpowers.ai/docs/tools/linkedin-ads) for targeting examples and access requirements.

For explicitly enabled pilot accounts, you can ask the assistant to prepare an image or video DRAFT proposal using existing organization-owned media and a suitable campaign. Review the [media to LinkedIn draft ads guide](https://adsuperpowers.ai/docs/media-upload#linkedin-advertising) before requesting creation.

## TikTok Ads

```text
For TikTok advertiser [advertiser ID], compare ad-level spend, impressions,
clicks and reported conversions for [date range] with the previous period.
Highlight creatives whose click-through rate fell while delivery rose.
Show the figures and suggest checks, without changing any ads.
```

See [TikTok tools](https://adsuperpowers.ai/docs/tools/tiktok-ads) before requesting a particular breakdown.

## Cross-platform analysis

```text
Load the profile for [client] and confirm its linked account IDs.
For the Meta and Google Ads accounts I can access, report spend and
platform-reported conversions during [date range]. Keep each platform's
conversion figures separate. State currency, dates and attribution
differences before comparing performance. Make no changes.
```

Platform-reported conversions can overlap. Do not treat their sum as a deduplicated customer total. A [client profile](https://adsuperpowers.ai/docs/accounts#client-profiles) supplies goals and account context; it does not reconcile measurement automatically.

## Turn a question into a recurring report

```text
Prepare a weekly report for [client] using [named account IDs].
Compare [date range] with the previous week. Include spend, clicks,
reported conversions, missing data and three follow-up checks.
Separate observations from recommendations. Do not change campaigns.
```

For budget, audience or creative analysis, add the precise decision you need to make and ask for the evidence supporting each recommendation. A recommendation does not authorize a platform change.
